A collage of four photos featuring young people: a black-and-white portrait of a woman with wavy hair, a smiling man in a checkered shirt outdoors, a blurred photo of a woman with straight hair and a man with longer hair with purple tint, and a group of four people sitting against a brick wall, dressed casually.

Building on our work with SoCo’s Music Industry Office. We will be announcing the latest iteration of our annual artist development programme later this year.

Modelled on the current Sounds of South Central Programme run by SoCo, BLOC will be commissioning members to support developing artists from across the region, to help them take a true next step in their careers.

ARTIST DEVELOPMENT

A group of people gathered in a dimly lit room with exposed brick walls, sitting and listening to a speaker. The speaker, a man in a plaid shirt, is seated on a chair, gesturing with his hands. There are musical instruments, plants, and stage equipment in the background, indicating a casual event or discussion.

MEMBER SUPPORT & DROP INS

BLOC is about supporting our members, helping you grow, up-skill or simply consolidate the amazing work you are already doing.

As part of this we will offer support to members including free, bookable 1-2-1’s with our team where you can sit down with us for free consultations to discuss issues like funding, expanding your network, or finding space for your next event.

For artists we will also be running a Music Management Drop-In clinic at ‘IO’ starting in Summer 2026.

More details coming soon!

People gathered in an indoor space with brick walls and a low arched ceiling, socializing and holding drinks, with a large overlay text that says 'Coming soon...' in bold, white font.

In early summer 2026 we will be launching a new facility in SoCo, intended on providing a hub space for music businesses both in the city and the wider region.

‘IO’ will be a coffee shop, co-working space, and boutique events venue available for unique low cap private events.

THE PLAYBOOK @ GOOD THINGS SOUTHAMPTON.

In order to better connect the music sector across the region, BLOC will be collaborating with members around Hampshire & the Isle of Wight to deliver networking opportunities for independent music businesses and creatives to get together.

These sessions will be scheduled around major events, and at times those of you who are busy delivering amazing live events every evening can actually make it to!

We already collaborate with two amazing networking series so come along and get a taste for the action.
